i can't believe it's finally here!! overexposure has been on quite a journey. i wrote it in 2020 after a lockdown induced panic attack. it felt like so much time was passing and my music career was irreparably stalling. i kept this song in a quiet drawer for a long time. I didn't feel like anyone else could relate to my late night confessional. while creating this EP it finally became clear what i was even writing about. fear of failure. fear of embarrassment. fear of fear taking over. the lyrics are a reworking of a diary entry, the vocals are from the original demo, and the music is a collaboration of some incredible people's talents.
when you listen, i hope you don't relate too much, but if you do... you might not be able to control fear, but you can always face it.
